Simple Steps to getting the 6-pack Abs
Are you one of those who reads health magazines splashed with pictures of hot bods while munching away on potato chips, dreaming of the day you could own killer abs like them? Or are you one of those who buys every possible exercise equipment and attire, telling yourself that you'll start exercising tomorrow but it never happens?
Well, I believe there're quite a number of people who belong to these catergories. Either they can't seem to get themselves up on that treadmill or they tried but gave up halfway 'cos all the crunches seem to make their tummies grow bigger instead of the desired flat tummy.
Today, I'm gonna teach you the right and effective way of revealing those killer abs of yours. First of all, forget about doing all those crunches for now. This is a common misunderstanding of most people. Doing sit-ups and crunches alone will not make your abs show. As you might have realised by now, I used words like "reveal" and "show" and not "build" simply because everyone of us has got abs. It's just a matter of whether yours is hidden underneath that layer of fat. So, if the layer of fat is not gotten rid of, no matter how many crunches or sit-ups you do, your abs will never show and worse still, they'll only make your tummy bigger.
So, now that you understand the logic behind getting those abs, the next step is to get rid of that layer of fat.I've said this many times and now I'm gonna say this again. Exercise alone just isn't good enough. You need to watch your diet. All that pounding on the treadmill will just be wasted the moment you start munching away. Does that mean you don't eat? No, you will still eat but eat the right food. More veggies, protein and less fatty food.
There are many types of exercise. You have cardiovascular, strength training and so on. But the most effective of all is still cardio, which includes stuff like running, swimming, and cycling. So run for at least a minimum of 30-40 mins a day early in the morning and watch your fat melt away fast.
Now that you've finally gotten rid of the fat, the next step is to work on the abs. The most effective method is what is commonly know as "The crunch". Simple as it sounds but the trick behind doing this crunch is to imagine you're curling yourself around a piece of log. So everytime you crunch, you make sure you really curl yourself around that imaginary piece of log. Follow this routine and you'll be thanking me for this advice in a couple of weeks time.
